So Quiet....

The blog has been a little quiet of late, which usually means I've got something cooking... This time, I'd like to think it's something big.

Aside from signing up two pumping tracks andone  unique Electo artists, Andy D, I have been busy setting up a brand new site to add to the D4Dirty Records network, and hopefully in time and with enough promotion may help with the costs of this label and enable me to give more back to the guys making the music.

So what is proaudionewz.com? 

One of the best things to come out of the web over the last few years has been the social capabilities if you ask me. Blogs, myspace, facebook, social bookmarking, and social news are just a few of the great ideas.

One of the greatest social news sites on the web is digg.com, wich is what proaudionewz.com is based on.

Digg.com allows users to sign up, and post links to articles they like, blogs they have written, pictures they have seen and the community votes on the stories they like most. The most popular stories end up on top and the least popular fade into the void. This works great for world news, computer news and most other news that geeks, and the general public want to read on the net... but what about the pro audio news that WE are interested in?

That is where sites like digg fall short for people like us... I've some great stories about DJing, Ableton Live, Cubase, Tutorias that never get more then 3 or 4 votes and never get close to the front page.  And that is why I made proaudionewz.

So come and use it, post up your blogs, your latest tracks, mixes, bio's, sites, opinions, reviews, previews... whatever! This can be usefull for us all, and the more people use it, the better it gets!
