| Hook n Sling + Benassi Electro Bass Presets | | Print | |
|
I was requested to post a couple of bass presets over at KVRaudio.com and here they are. First one is inspired by Hook N Sling. This is my first attempt at emulating he's sound in a VST soft synth using Albino. You Can Buy Rob Papen Albino 3 Virtual Synth here.
The second is inspired by Benassi's Satisfaction. A sound that's been done over and over again. This one is in the Z3ta+ VST. You can buy Cakewalk Z3TA+ Software Synth here .

| cmoney, I'll email this response to you as well to make sure you get it, but you shouldnt need to conver the patch at all. Just stick it in your Albino preset directory and off you go. It could be that converting the patch is giving you trouble, but I can assure you that a lot of people have downloaded it and find it pretty close to the original. I think it is as close as your going to get using a software VST rather then the Korg that Hook n Sling is probably using. Anyway, I will post up a sample of the original, with a sample of mine and you can hear how it should sound tonight. I will also put up the .Midi file so you can use the right Octave and see how the mod wheel can be used to give you the ripping squelch type sound. I also have another good bass patch for predator that I can post up with was inspired from The bump. |

| b is the basic pattern and -2 is probably the right octave. the albino i have only acepts .fxp not .fxb, i guess fxp is a patch and fxb is a bank, seeing as this is only a single patch any chance of a .fxp? sorry to be a pain been working on this a while. been using the v-station, getting something similar with the use of a couple of saws and a band reject filter modulated by an envelope in the upper mids but its not quite there yet. |

| Admin, i would be still keen to hear your results, i saw your posts on the same subject on kvr, you say you have come close to making it at audiopioneers but you need to be a member who is invited, you posted an albino bank (for a single patch for some reason) that doesnt even work (as now confirmed by not only me but the guys over at kvr), can you really make the hook n sling sound? i hate to say this but, audio or stfu. |

If your still having problems with loading these patches in, send me an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and I will see if I can sort out what is going on! |
